Our owner, Michael, started kayaking about 15 years ago in Brunswick, GA where he fell in love with the sport. Michael’s service in the Navy gave him the chance to paddle in places all around the world. In January of 2008, Michael’s family moved to Gulfport, MS where he worked with the Seabees. One thing he quickly discovered was that there was no store nearby and only a handful of websites where he could buy quality paddle sports supplies. Two years later, as his enlistment was coming to an end, Michael needed to make a decision on what to do next. The answer was Everything Kayak! The store opened its doors on September 10, 2011.
Our staff is knowledgeable and eager to help. We have demo boats available from all the manufacturers we carry, and encourage our customers to try a boat, or several, before they buy. We do careful research before we bring a product in, and strive to carry only the highest quality items.
Everything Kayak is a full-service Kayak shop. We carry a variety of touring and sit-on-top kayaks, which includes specialty kayaks for both fishing and hunting. We also have a wide range of kayak accessories available. If you don’t see it on our site, give us a call. We will do everything we can to satisfy your paddling needs.
If you’re only visiting the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Everything Kayak has something for you, too. We have rental boats available year-round and for every style paddler. Whether you want to paddle to the islands, get some “yak” fishing in, or simply wish to tour along the beachfront, we can help you out. Even if you are renting a condo or summer home for a short time, give us a call. Everything Kayak will drop off a rental boat when you arrive, and pick it back up when you depart.
